That Brings the Party
Born in Santiago, Chile and raised in the states, Myriam is a multi-emmy award winning reporter for Telemundo 51 and NBC6. Although she has had a long and successful career, her true calling has always been helping children in need. With the help of her wonderful husband Gino, she has not only been able to give their two adopted daughters a beautiful childhood but is now helping change the lives of kids in foster care.
Born and raised in Miami to Cuban immigrants, Gino started working in the radio field in 1984 and became known as Gino Latino. After having worked at a dozen stations he was part of the launching of a new station, WMGE. Another member of that venture was a newscaster by the name of Myriam Masihy who became his co-host and later his wife. They have 2 adopted girls, Gabriela and Fahra so the issue of children in foster care is dear to their hearts. Today, Gino owns his own events company “Celebrate a Date” and is proud to help children in foster care improve their self-esteem… one birthday at a time.
